The Board of Directors brings the critical experience, skills and diversity to Skyriver Communications to drive the company’s overall financial performance and business strategy. Both the Board and executive management team are comprised of seasoned professionals with a solid range of wireless, engineering and business expertise. The executive management team also has a proven track record of success in emerging markets.
Massih Tayebi
Dr. Massih Tayebi is Chairman of the Board of Directors. Dr. Tayebi is also Chairman and CEO of BridgeWest LLC, a private equity investment company focused on emerging wireless technologies. Prior to BridgeWest, Dr. Tayebi was Co-Founder and Chairman of Wireless Facilities, Inc. (NASDAQ: WFI), a global leader in telecommunications outsourcing. Prior to his tenure at WFI, Dr. Tayebi served as Technical Manager for Computer Integrated Management Systems with responsibility for product lifecycle management.
Previously, Dr. Tayebi held a senior faculty position at the University of Paisley in Great Britain. He earned a Ph.D. and an M.S degree from the University of Strathclyde in Great Britain. In 2000, Dr. Tayebi was also recognized as the San Diego Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
Saeed Khorami
Saeed Khorami is President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Khorami brings extensive wireless telecommunications experience to Skyriver. Since joining the company, Khorami has been instrumental in leading growth and expansion into new vertical markets. Prior to his tenure at Skyriver, Khorami served as a member of the investment team at BridgeWest LLC, a private equity investment company focused on emerging wireless technologies, where he was responsible for spectrum acquisition as well as wireless telecommunications in domestic and international markets.
Khorami also spent five years with Wireless Facilities, Inc., a global leader in telecommunications outsourcing, where he specialized in the design, deployment and operation of cellular and broadband wireless networks, as well as licensing and FCC regulations. Khorami earned a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
James Edwards
Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary

Jim Edwards joined Cubic in February 2008. Prior to coming to Cubic, Mr. Edwards served as SVP and General Counsel of Kratos Defense, and was previously Senior Legal Counsel for Qualcomm Incorporated. Prior to joining Qualcomm, Mr. Edwards has served as Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary of Wireless Knowledge, Inc., a Qualcomm subsidiary; Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary of Vapotronics, Inc., a developer of medical device technologies; Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary of General Atomics, a energy and defense contractor; and General Counsel & Secretary of Logicon, Inc., a defense contractor.
Mr. Edwards is a graduate of the University of San Diego, School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctorate, and of Colorado State University, where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology, cum laude.
